The pig can walk!

Dave got home from Baltimore around 8 o'clock Friday night. Lucy stayed up to see him. We went to get Gus out of his room and Lucy walked into her bed and laid down all by herself. We went in to say prayers and tuck her in. Lucy loves her sleep!

On Saturday morning we went to the museum. The pig was awake this time and was actually walking around! Lucy was so excited the pig was awake. The turkey was quite active this time, too. We were talking to the turkey and making sounds and all of the sudden the turkey raised it's wings and started making crazy sounds (more than the average gobble). Dave got up close to the fence and kept making sounds, Lucy said "no Daddy be cahfuw" (be careful). Only one of the bears was out and he didn't perform too much for us. We saw a turtle inside that resembled Mr. Turtle. I told Lucy that the turtle moved to the museum, so now we know where to find him. Hopefully this will cut down on turtle searches around our house.

On Friday night Gus climbed the stair from our family room to the kitchen. He did it again Saturday morning. He was so proud of himself! He's pulling himself up on everything, even the wall. He's getting much more brave, too. He'll pull himself up and let go with one hand, trying to reach something. He falls a lot, but takes it like a man! He rarely cries when he falls. Towards the end of our time at the museum he wanted out of the stroller. He wants so much to be included in what Lucy does.

We took the kids to my parents house Saturday afternoon so we could go on a date. So much fun! We had an early dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and went to go see the Bourne Ultimatum.

Sunday was pretty uneventful. We went to church and came home. We were able to watch football, catch up on stuff around the house, and the kids slept a lot. Dave worked on a paper last night, school is definitely under way for him.
