Walking and riding

Gus is taking about 20 steps at a time now! So exciting! He still can't get up by himself, without pulling up on something. It's driving him nuts! He claps for himself while he walks. He's so happy.

We took the kids down to the beach this afternoon. They loved the wagon. Lucy calls it her "gween weigh-gun." It was a gorgeous day, so I didn't bundle them up too much. There was nothing in the wagon but them. Gus kept bending down to play with Lucy's shoes. He's still enamored with her Crocs and Jibbitz. Lucy let him play with them. It's so neat to see them work things out with each other. Their feet touch on the floor of the wagon, and they were able to work it all out without any fights. Lucy let Gus put his feet on top of hers. So sweet. Lucy would bend over to straighten out her Jibbitz and Gus would pull her hair. She would tell him to stop and he did (she also pulled her head up so he couldn't reach it). He bent down and she played with the top of his hat. Lucy sang the Alphabet about a dozen times and Gus clapped along while she sang. The both loved the water and the birds.

After the beach I was able to take Lucy to the pool. Boy, does she love being in the water! I think Gus is going to be the same. They both cried when they had to get out of the tub tonight.

Tomorrow is supposed to be another nice day. I can't wait to see what will happen!
