The longest line yet

This morning Jim, Dave, the kids, and I went back to the Magic Kingdom one last time. Lucy went through Minnie's house twice and Mickey's house was finally open (it had been closed for refurbishing all week). Lucy had mustered up enough courage to go on Goofy's Barnstormer, the roller coaster for kids. She measured nearly 35 inches, the minimum height requirement. I thought for sure she would throw up all over me. We figured if she gets sick it's not a big deal, we've done everything that we wanted to do. She was very nervous, but very excited. She did great! As we were pulling up to get off she asked if we could do it again. We went on the train around the park instead. We started heading back to the entrance and we saw the line for Tigger, Pooh, and Darby (the new character on the show). Lucy had been asking about Darby all week long. We stood in line for nearly an hour and a half to see them. Lucy rested and Gus napped, so the time seemed to pass quickly. Lucy went up to Tigger and started bouncing (because that's what Tigger's do best). Gus recognized Tigger. He seemed a little puzzled as to why Tigger was so big (their Tigger toy bounces, but is shorter than Gus). We all had such a great time.

After naps Dave and I went back to the Polynesian for dinner sans the kids. It was so wonderful having my parents come along with us. It has made the trip so much easier! Plus we enjoyed their company! All in all it was a spectacular week at Disney. We're all ready to go home, though, and get back into our routine.
