Food, food, and more food!

The last few days have been amazing. It was great to go out and see Rob Bell on Wednesday night. The Angus Barn did not disappoint us, and it was every bit as good as it was last year. It finally felt like fall on Thanksgiving. We went to Pinehurst on Friday night. Amazing! The spa was incredible. Dinner was great. The breakfast buffet was "unforgettable," just like they described it. There were three long rows (made of four tables in each row) of different breakfast dishes, fruits, and pastries. There are few things that I love more than a good breakfast. I think the breakfast buffet at Pinehurst was the best I've ever had. The kids did great at my parents house! Gus even slept from 8pm-5am (he's been getting up in the middle of the night lately). What a great weekend, and it's not even over yet!

Dave is working on his end-of-semester projects and papers. He'll be done with his semester next Monday. It will be nice to have him around more the next five weeks!

This week seems pretty uneventful. Lucy gets to bring snacks to school this week, which also means she's line-leader. She'll love that! When we get ready to go places now (even if it's just downstairs) she stands at the door and asks everyone to get in line. We oblige. We also take turns being line leader. She's happy to share that position.

Gus is growing up way too fast. He's starting to get a little more brave with his cruising, he's letting go and grabbing other things. He'll be walking before we know it!
