Today was a bit colder than the rest of the week (low 60's). Dave, Lucy, Gus, and I went to Magic Kingdom for the morning. It was the first time all week the four of us did something together! Lucy still wanted to go on Dumbo or Aladdin's magic carpet ride. We caved and I took her on the ride, fully expecting her to get sick. She loved the ride and didn't get sick at all. When we got off she asked to go on it again. We ended up going on the Jungle Cruise again. She loved the animals. I guess when you're two it doesn't matter so much if the animals are real or if they just look real. Gus looked around, he was a bit sleepy and really wanted a nap. We walked down to Frontierland and there was a little Toy Story show with Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye. Truly, we couldn't have planned this any better. Lucy was beyond excited!
We decided to go back to the Magic Kingdom for an hour before closing. We went on it's a small world and the kids loved it. Lucy was dancing through the whole thing and singing along. Gus was mesmerized, trying to figure it all out. Lucy kept asking about riding Lumpy. Lumpy is the elephant from Winnie the Pooh. We translated it to mean that she wanted to ride Dumbo (she doesn't know about that elephant yet). We waited in line for about 15 minutes and she was so excited, like flapping her arms excited. She loved it and didn't get sick! When we left the park fake snow was being blown down onto Main St. It was such a special time!
