Now What?

When we brought Lucy home from the hospital we set her carrier down in the family room and looked at each other and said, "Now what do we do?" We took a picture to remember that moment. We did the same for Gus. So, we had to do the same for Judson. With Lucy, there really wasn't much to do except wait for her next feeding. With Gus, we needed to entertain Lucy. And with Judson, oh my, the list seemed endless.
My mom brought the older kids back to our house and Dave's parents came to help for a few days. By the time we got home, Gus was taking a nap, and Lucy was up playing with Mama and Papa. We really didn't think that we were going to have a baby on Friday, so nothing was really together for having a baby come home with us. Everything was washed, just not put back together and set up. We scrambled, putting the bedding on the Moses Basket and moving Judson's clothes/changing stuff to our room. When we brought Lucy home from the hospital it was relatively quiet, we all just stared at each other. Now, it is a three-ring circus. I wouldn't change it for anything. I love it!
