That's right, an Easter Hat Parade. Lucy made an Easter hat last week at pre-school and they had a parade and Easter egg hunt yesterday for the kids (and parents, too!). Dave was able to come, too. When we walked in Ms. Cindy, the director, saw Gus and said, "Lucy told us My Gus is coming today!" Lucy checked with all three of us yesterday morning to make sure we were going to her parade at school. I'm amazed how Ms. Eileen can get all eight of those kids up on stage, have them stand still, doing nothing, all so they could pose for a few minutes of pictures.
The egg hunt was neat. We had to find two of each color, there were six colors. The four of us went to Dairy Queen for lunch. Gus ate half of a cheeseburger and half of a ice cream sandwich, more than what Lucy ate.
Gus had his Dr. appointment on Monday and weighed in at 19lbs.12oz. We don't have to go back for weight checks. Thank goodness. He's been drinking a ton of milk lately.
Lucy asked to go on the potty twice this morning, and she went! Good times.
