Thanksgiving

On Wednesday night we watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. We try to watch all the holiday Charlie Brown's, so the kids are pretty familiar with the characters. In this episode, Snoopy was helping Charlie Brown make a Thanksgiving dinner of toast, popcorn, and jelly beans for all the unexpected guests. Lucy (our Lucy, not the one from the show) turned to me and said, "That's Snoopy's superpower." I said, "What's his superpower?" She said, "Doing things super fast!"

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner at the Angus Barn with my parents. This was our third annual Thanksgiving there. Lucy was so excited to wear her holiday dress again. Gus sported some fancy black corduroy overalls with his bow tie. The Christmas decorations were gorgeous. and the food was delicious. I think it tastes even better because we didn't have to clean up. Gus ate a ton of food. He has a thing for sweet potatoes. It's good we took pictures before we ate, because they both were covered in food by the time we left!
