I Foe Webs!

A couple of weeks ago our neighbors gave us tickets to the NC State Charity Horse Championship. Never in a million years would we have thought to go, or even known about it. So we rounded up our brood and went. The horse show was happening the same time as the NC State football game and was held right across the street from the stadium, so we could hear all the howls every time they scored. Gus loved it and has been howling ever since. Anyway, back to the horse show. We got there just in time for Judson to drink his bottle. We sat on the bleachers and watched the horses go around and around and around. Lucy and Gus were enamored. Then we walked around and in the back there were pony rides. Gus was hoping to ride on a cow, so he picked a pony that looked like a cow. I held on to Gus and had Judson in the Baby Bjorn. Gus was fearless and did not want me to hang on to him. He even tried going no hands. Dave took pictures and held Lucy. Then Lucy saw a place to get makeovers (aka face painting). She wanted a rainbow and then she saw a rainbow butterfly in the book and could not have imagined anything more perfect. She sat incredibly still while she got her face painted. Gus was too scared to get his face painted, but he was okay with getting his wrist painted. He got Spider Man on his arm. All night he kept saying, "I FOE WEBS (I throw webs). It was such a great night.
