We had a very relaxing weekend after an exceptionally busy week. Our friend Chris Stewart from Illinois came for a quick visit. We told Lucy that Daddy's friend Chris was coming, so she kept referring to him as "Uncah Kwis." Both kids loved him to pieces.
This morning we were watching ESPN and they were showing football highlights and Dave said "touchdown!" He asked Lucy if she could say it, she did and immediately squatted down and put her hands on the floor and said "touchdown" (touch down, right?).
Gus loves to have books read to him. We spent about 45 minutes reading books yesterday morning and he would start to fuss when we stopped reading. He even sat through Runaway Bunny a few times! Gus is starting to want to eat cereal more now. He especially likes it with pumpkin pie spice! Who knew? It's so amazing how different our children are! It makes it that much more fun.
